As rumors of possible blossoming romance between Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt continue to create a buzz in the industry, it seems like the Friends actress' good relationship with her other ex-husband seems to have been forgotten. New rumors emerged that Aniston has been desperate to ditch Theroux as she moves on with Pitt.
The National Enquirer published a story that claimed Jen is very happy to reconnect with her first ex-husband. Now, she is allegedly desperately trying to kick her second ex-husband out of her life.
The outlet reported that Theroux was displeased that Jen invited Brad to her annual Christmas party last month. Apparently, Aniston was sorry that Justin's pride was hurt by her action but she thinks it is his problem, not hers.
The National Enquirer also cited a source that claimed Aniston is already fed up with Theroux's attempts of forcing his way back into her life and using her friends and connections to advance his career. Apparently, the 50-year-old actress finds the Leftovers actor's attitude of dropping her name to her connections disrespectful.
"She's said it's time for him to make his own way on his own merits. She's looking forward to fully erasing him out of the picture," the source said.
However, Gossip Cop dismissed the report, saying it was completely fabricated. The site noted that the separate representatives of both stars have also denied the report.
Gossip Cop also stressed that Justin is not using Jen's friends to advance his career. While it's true that Justin's fame skyrocketed when he started dating Aniston, he already has a successful career as an actor and writer before meeting and working with the actress on their 2012 movie Wanderlust. He appeared in popular movies and TV shows as well as co-wrote the screenplays for Iron Man 2 and Tropic Thunder.
Moreover, it would be hard to believe that Jen would like to cut ties with Justin when she continues to have a good relationship with him. Back in October when Aniston launched her Instagram account, Theroux revealed that the actress texted him asking why he wasn't following her.
It turned out he already followed her but there was some sort of glitch in the system that the actor's notification did not appear instantly. This only shows that Aniston would still want her connection with her ex-husband to remain the same as before.
It is also worthy to note that Pitt was not the only ex of Jen who attended the latter's parties. The Spy Who Dumped Me actor was present when Aniston threw Friendsgiving party in November 2019.
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux got married in 2015. In February 2018, the couple announced that they have separated in late 2017.
