MONSTA X Jooheon, also known to fans as Joohoney, has taken the personal approach to explain his mental health condition to fans who are worried by his sudden hiatus from group activities.

In a letter to fans, MONSTA X's Joohoney addressed the MONBEBE fandom and tried his best to reassure the fans about his condition.According to Jooheon, he was unsure whether he should write something but said that his love for the fans compelled him to do so, All Kpop reported.

"I am mentally very weak right now and in a difficult situation. I am in the middle of taking medicine, and I am personally in the middle of digging for a hole I can break through, and I am with my two hands together, in my room with the lights off, praying and crying," Joohoney said in his heartfelt message.

He said that he is doing his best to recover well from his condition so that he can rejoin his members on stage sooner in a better condition. He also asked for fans' understanding and to never judge him by what they see on social media after he was seen celebrating the birthdays of Hyungwon and I.M recently.

Originally with seven members, MONSTA X is currently promoting with only five members after Wonho announced his departure from the group last year in the wake of an alleged debt scandal, as well as allegations of drug use. As both Starship Entertainment and Wonho denied the allegations, both parties decided that his departure from the group would be best for the other members as he cleared up his issues.

With Joohoney out of commission to focus on his recovery from his anxiety, MONSTA X is currently promoting with only Minhyuk, I.M., Shownu, Hyugwon, and Kihyun.

Starship Entertainment recently announced that MONSTA X will release their comeback on February 14 will their all-English language album entitled Luv U.

The label has also announced that MONSTA X will be embarking on a North American summer tour from June to July. Included in MONSTA X's North American Tour are Minneapolis (June 2), Detroit (June 5), Washington, DC (June 7), Newark (June 10), Boston (June 12), Toronto (June 14), Chicago (June 16), Atlantic City (June 19), Atlanta (June 22), Ft.
