BTS Jungkook has been crowned as the most searched Kpop idols of 2019 on streaming platform YouTube.

According to a report by All Kpop, Jungkook topped the list of Kpop idols who were searched by fans on YouTube, beating out fellow members Jimin, who took second place, V who took fourth place, Suga who landed on seventh place and worldwide handsome Jin, who took the ninth spot out of the Top 10.

J-Hope and RM narrowly missed the Top 10 as they landed on the 11th and 12th places. Other idols who landed in the Top 10 were BLACKPINK's Jennie and Lisa, singer and actress IU, dance queen Chungha and Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.

Apart from landing the top searched idol spot on YouTube, BTS' golden maknae Jungkook also achieved the same feat on the search engine Google and also cemented his image as the most popular Kpop star on Tumblr.

On Spotify, his solo track, Euphoria became the first solo male Kpop song to reach 100 million streams, proving the strength of Jungkook stans and ARMYs as a whole.

Last year, it can be recalled that Jungkook broke two records on Twitter. His cover of Grammy winner Billie Eilish's Bad Guy became the most liked tweet of 2019. The same tweet also became the third most-liked tweet in the entire history of the social media platform, next only to a tweet by former US President Barack Obama and Ariana Grande, reported Koreaboo.

As the youngest member of BTS, the golden maknae also used his charisma to sell out different brands without even knowing it.

With the monicker sold out king, Jungkook unwittingly caused different products to sell out just because he mentioned it on his live broadcasts. From fabric conditioners, beauty products, books, and other products, Jungkook did not even need to mention a brand for his supportive fans to troop to physical stores and online sellers to cause a massive shortage in inventory.

Jungkook's long hair, which he briefly sported in 2019, also entered the list of renowned fashion magazines as one of the best styles of the year.

Jungkook and the rest of BTS recently debuted on the Grammys stage and made history as the first Kpop act to perform for the awards show. BTS is currently preparing for the release of their comeback album Map of Soul: 7, which will drop on February 21 with the title track Black Swan.
