In their first time to take the stage at the Grammy Awards, BTS made sure to captivate fans with world-class performance. It turned out the power of Jimin alone was able to accomplish the feat as he effortlessly trended globally on Twitter.

According to a report by All Kpop, BTS' resident Recruiting and Trending Fairy appeared only for a short time on stage but that was already enough to set Twitter on fire as Jimin dominated the social media platform with 2 million mentions. Jimin tended with 1.45 million tweets while #JIMIN drew in 509,000 tweets. Fan interest was not only limited to the US because fans in over 57 countries were tweeting about the BTS member.

Jimin was such a hot item during the Grammys that various publications used his image as a banner in their layouts to cash in on the attention. Paper Magazine and Metro UK, in particular, relished the BTS' member's popularity by featuring stills of his performance on their social media pages. During the lead up to BTS' performance in the Grammy's along with Lil Nas X, Mason Ramsey, Diplo, and Billy Ray Cyrus, fans were already excited to see Jimin debut his new hairstyle on stage.

There were already Reddit forums devoted to Jimin's buttery blonde hair after BTS members premiered their new looks for their upcoming comeback album. The BTS members were also fashion darlings on the red carpet in sleek trench coats, blazers, and turtlenecks that were understated but still attention-grabbing, Time reported.

BTS also debuted more tame colored hairstyles as they temporarily retired their shocking blues and purples for browns and blondes. Apart from their Grammy performance, BTS is in LA to promote their new song Black Swan, the title track for their upcoming album Map of the Soul:7 which will drop on February 21. The album has broken pre-order records even before release, breaking the 3.42 million copies mark within the first week of pre-selling.

As part of the activities before the album launch, Big Hit Entertainment has released the teaser for Suga's Interlude: Shadow, which earned praise for Suga's signature style and profound messaging. The art film for BTS' Black Swan, performed the MN Dance Company was also well received by fans all over the world, who expressed excitement over the release of the BTS version of the music video.

The art film was inspired by American dancer Martha Graham's quote: "A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing and this first death is the more painful."
