Performing live is not easy, which is why errors and mishaps happen in a lot of concerts. Despite months and months of rehearsals, BTS is not exempted from these unfortunate matters as well, and RM seemed to not be too happy with his mistake in the past.
The latest BTS Episode video uploaded on BANGTANTV’s YouTube channel showed the moments of the boys at the SBS. Although this happened back in 2018, BANGTANTV just recently shared it on the video-sharing platform.
There, RM shared that his earpiece wasn’t in place correctly, which made his performance not as great as he wanted it to be. The BTS star looked discouraged as he was sharing the mishap with the fans.
“My earpiece fell out and I couldn’t place it back correctly. So I think I fell short. For the concert, I’ll have it sorted out and do better,” RM said.
Jin knew how much hard work RM has poured into the performance, so he didn’t want the 25-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record producer to feel that he “fell short." Jin quickly defended his member, praised him, and assured him that he’s a great leader.
“Well, I heard you and you did fine. RM is not the kind of person who gets hindered by some technical glitch. He’s too good. I truly respect our leader, RM.” Jin shared.
What made the moment even sweeter is that RM quickly hugged Jin with a grateful smile on his face. All ARMYs know that RM wants nothing but to be a good leader, so for Jin to confirm and remind him about it surely meant the world to him. (What the full video here).
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Jin cheered RM up when he feels down about his performance. Previously, a disappointed-looking RM said, “I didn’t do well in the beginning.” The BTS leader was so upset that he couldn’t even look at the camera. Although he tried to smile, his face clearly showed that he was disappointed in himself.
Upon hearing this, Jin shook his BTS lightstick and turned himself into RM’s fanboy and cheered for him. “RM did great!” he said in a high-pitched voice, imitating a fangirl. (Check out the clip here).
Jin’s sweet attitude is nothing new to ARMYs as he said multiple times that he likes making people happy. In fact, he said he would do even embarrassing things just so he could cheer people up.
