Manifest season 2 episode 5 will be arriving on NBC next week, with the title "Coordinated Flight." The series is becoming more exciting as more mysteries continue to surface. In the upcoming episode, Ben finds himself investigating and searching for the truth behind Grace and Cal's accident.
In Manifest season 2 episode 5, Ben is determined to uncover the truth behind the suspicious hit-and-run incident involving Grace and Cal. However, it wouldn't be that easy for him, especially since he didn't know the person who strikes his wife and son.
It's hard to pin down a specific person, largely because there are a lot of people who are after them. What's more worrying in this episode is Grace's pregnancy;she and the unborn child might be in danger. Their situation is just an example that no one is safe now, so Ben needs to do everything to save his family.
Manifest season 2 episode 5 will also see Michaela investigating a brutal attack at the Church of the Believers but Adrian refused to cooperate. As for Zeke, he's being tested after trying to make amends with the person from his past.
There's also a question regarding Michaela and Zeke's current relationship. Although it turned something romantic in the previous episode, there is no indication that the two were ready to take their relationship to the next level.
As for what else is coming, Saanvi discovered her research had been tampered with and the Major was the one who leaked it. The real motive of the mystery mom might also be revealed in the upcoming episode, while the safety of all the Flight 828 passengers is still in question. Additionally, the promo of the upcoming episode has a tagline: "The more you uncover, the greater the danger."
The biggest question here is: can they beat their expiration/death dates. In the first season, Ben, Michaela, and others found out the Flight 828 passengers and anyone else who came back from the same situation have an expiration date.
Now, they are trying to beat that date and find a way to survive. However, that's not an easy task for them as they're facing several challenges along the way. For now, the only thing that they know is that they're all going to die on June 24, 2024.
