Big Hit Labels released BTS’ “Black Swan” art film on Jan. 17 on YouTube. But unlike their previous music videos, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were not on it, but the video featured the MN Dance Company instead.

With that said, ARMYs had no idea what’s the actual BTS “Black Swan” choreography was. So when it was announced that RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will be performing their new single for the very first time at The Late Late Show with James Corden, fans were beyond excited.

Knowing that the ARMYs are expecting a lot from them, the BTS boys made sure to give them the best performance possible. In fact, they did extremely well that nobody noticed that J-Hope had an accident.

Before the second chorus, the BTS boys had a complex step where they racked back and forth on the floor then brought themselves back up with a kick. While doing so, V accidentally kicked J-Hope in the face but the rapper continued performing without missing a beat. (Watch the clip here).

After their interview and performance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, V went on Vlive to do a live broadcast. A few minutes later, J-Hope joined him and that’s when they discussed the accident on the show.

While J-Hope displayed remarkable professionalism after being kicked in the face, he revealed that he almost fainted when it happened. “In the midst of the performance, I was hit with a cool high kick and lost my mind. It was the person right next to me. If you look hard, you will find it. I almost passed out,” the BTS star said.

Although J-Hope and V have the same height, the latter clearly weighs more than the rapper. So one could only imagine how painful it was for J-Hope when it happened.

However, things appeared to be all well with J-Hope now as he was laughing the whole time while sharing the unfortunate incident. V also laughed, but he was clearly sorry for accidentally kicking his hyung in the face.

J-Hope then shared that even before the accident, he was already worried about how small the space was. “Yoongi and Taehyung were next to me. They were so close. I thought that I would be hit by someone, and it happened,” he said.
