Over the years, BTS' golden maknae Jungkook has proven time and again his natural intelligence despite being the group's youngest member. During an episode of The Late Late Show with James Corben, he once again showed why he was known as a genius maknae when he outsmarted even the show's host.

According to a report by All Kpop, BTS was the featured guests at the Late Late Show with James Corben to promote their Black Swan single. In one of the segments of the show, RM, J-Hope, Suga, Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were invited to play hide and seek with James Corben and celebrity guest Ashton Kutcher.

While the rest of the members scrambled to find good hiding places, Jungkook showed off his street-savvy by hiding in plain sight. He simply joined the filming staff and pretended to be a cameraman.

As the rest of the members were found one by one, Jungkook was the last one to be found by Ashton, who only found him after receiving a tip from BTS leader RM about the youngest member's whereabouts.

This was not the first time Jungkook displayed his above-average IQ for the world to see. In the Memories of 2018 DVD released by BTS, the golden maknae introduced a genius hack to get all the seasoning out of a packet for Bibimyeon by using chopsticks. This enabled the maknae to take all the sauce out without having to get his hands dirty in the process.

Jungkook is also known for his attention to detail. It was because of his idea that BTS' video for Spring Day became even more realistic. In an interview, RM and J-Hope shared that to make the train scene more convincing, their maknae started bouncing around on the seat to give the illusion of the train's movement. After seeing how effective it was, other members started to move in the same way, Koreaboo reported.

Jungkook's exploits are so interesting that he recently became the top-ranked Kpop idol when it came to YouTube searches for 2019. He also became a top searched topic on the search engine Google and Tumblr.

The golden maknae's strong influence on social media is also no joke. Fans and stylists were so fascinated by his long hair period last year that it was lauded as one of the best Kpop styles of 2019 by renowned fashion magazines. His tweets have also become part of the list of most-liked tweets in history, an honor he shared with US President Barack Obama and Ariana Grande.
