Donald Trump and Donald Trump Jr., reportedly, share a close father-and-son relationship. However, this was not the case before as per claims.

Several publications revealed that there was a time in the past when the President's eldest son was "slapped" by his father in front of his friends. These claims were said to be shared by one of Don Jr.'s friends, who was there and witnessed the whole scenario.

According to Complex, a classmate and friend of the President's son wrote a Facebook post revealing the details of what happened between the two personalities. It was said that he only shared it with the public to justify his notions that Donald Trump is "unfit to be president."

Scott Melker, who is now a realtor, stated that he and Donald Trump Jr. shared a freshman dorm during their university years. Based on the post, the then-billionaire mogul picked up his son, one day, to watch a baseball game together.

But, upon seeing his son wearing a "Yankee jersey," he immediately "slapped" and knocked him down in front of everyone present in the room. After doing so, Scott Melker claimed that the future US President simply asked Don Jr. to "put on a suit" and meet him outside.

He, then, included in the post that what he witnessed then was huge evidence that Donald Trump has no "basic social decency." Accordingly, this only goes to show that he cannot "run the country."

As the publication noted, Don Jr.'s friend ended his post by stating that he will vote for Hilary Clinton for president. Aside from the thought that his own son "despises him," he lacks the "temperament" to serve as the head of the United States, he concluded.

Nothing much has been heard on Trump's side about the post. It remains unknown whether the allegation is true or not. Even so, an article from the New York Magazine about Donald Trump and his children was utilized by many publications today to somehow, complement the allegations made.

In the article, it was revealed that Donald Trump Jr. had much closer ties with his grandparents than his own father. He also, reportedly, shared that their father is always a "hardworking guy." This is his "focus in life," he explained.

In recent news, however, it has been largely emphasized that Donald Trump Jr. has been always one of his father's "top defenders," especially on social media. So, it seems like their relationship has gotten much better since then.
