While most celebrities who reached the superstardom status have forgotten where they came from, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook always remember how it all started.
Thanks to ARMYs, BTS is now living their dreams. And because of that, the boys feel immense gratitude towards the fans and they would do anything to let ARMYs know how much they love and appreciate them.
Footage from the BTS 2020 Winter Package showed Jungkook reading his letter to ARMYs. Jimin then pointed out that the Golden Maknae’s ears turn red when he’s emotional.
Jungkook’s letter read: “To ARMY. Summer has passed and the cold winter has come. I am writing this letter from Finland. I’ve become more emotional now that winter has come and I’ve been thinking a lot of different thoughts as I look at the sky by myself. Of course, I think about ARMYs the most. Do you all think a lot about me too? Every time I think about you guys I am filled with precious memories. So I hope that when you think of me you are filled with precious memories too! I will continue to do my best!”
The BTS star ended his letter by telling his fans to be healthy, happy, and not give up despite how harsh the path is. He also wrote “AFBF,” which means “ARMY Forever Bangtan Forever.”
Jungkook tried to tough it out and even smiled at his members while they were teasing him when they noticed how red his ears were. RM then said, “His letter was the most sincere” — and that’s all it took for Jungkook to finally burst into tears.
After RM commented on Jungkook’s letter, the 22-year-old singer, songwriter, and record producer quickly covered his face. The rest of the BTS boys first laughed at him, but then they realized that their youngest member was sobbing hard and that’s when RM, Jimin, and J-Hope went up to him to give him a hug. This was not the first time that Jungkook was moved to tears by his love for ARMYs. In 2013, Jungkook also cried when he thanked the fans for their support. A couple of the boys were also brought into tears at the time. (Watch the video here).
BTS has shown time and time again how much their fans mean to them. In fact, even though a K-pop idol’s image is expected to be squeaky clean, Jungkook broke the “norm” and got a tattoo dedicated to his BTS members and ARMYs.
