It looks like Strictly Come Dancing fans are eager to have Camilla Parker-Bowles on the show. However, it's not just the followers, but the series' host herself, Tess Daly. The bookies also assumed the Duchess of Cornwall's appearance on the competition with its latest odds.
After the BBC One dancing show ended last year, punters are on the lookout on who will be gracing Strictly Come Dancing this season. By the looks of things, Bookmaker Coral claimed that there is a flood of bets on Prince Charles' wife.
The odds are now at 100-1. John Hill from Bookmaker Coral said, via Express, Camilla Parker-Bowles is a huge Strictly Come Dancing fan. Hence, a lot of punters feel like she will join the series as a contestant this year and compete for the Glitterball Trophy.
Tess Daly herself revealed that the future queen consort would be her dream challenger on the show. In an interview with Hello! Magazine, she also revealed that Camilla Parker-Bowles is a huge fan of the series and even told her how much she enjoys the series.
The host also praised the princess for her great sense of humor and her being down-to-earth. With Camilla Parker-Bowles' traits and interest in Strictly Come Dancing, they love to have her on the program. As she is friends with Craig Revel Horwood, Daly may have a word with him to talk about Camilla.
According to BBC, the royals once had a connection to Strictly Come Dancing when Viscountess Emma Weymouth made an appearance on it. Although the socialite is not technically part of the royal family and not related to Queen Elizabeth II, she became a noblewoman when she married Ceawlin Thynn, Viscount Weymouth, in 2013. She was the sixth celebrity who left the show last year.
Aside from having Camilla Parker-Bowles on Strictly Come Dancing, Daly also revealed she wanted to talk to her and her husband, Prince Charles, about interiors after she launched her homeware brand. "I'm sure they have incredible taste," she said.
Meanwhile, aside from Camilla Parker-Bowles, there are also assumptions that Prince Harry or Meghan Markle will join Dancing with the Stars in the U.S. to "cash in on their new financially independent status." A bet is now ongoing about this, and it currently has 10-1 odds. Hill revealed the Sussexes would surely be in hot demand this year, so it would never be a surprise if they joined the show.
