Park Bom considers her former 2NE1 member Sandara Park as an angel in her life and said that Dara does not even know her strengths. This was the statement made by the vocalist during an interview with Special DH JeA on the recent episode of Jung Eun Ji's Gayo Plaza.
It can be recalled that Dara recently opened up about her insecurities during the time she was a member of 2NE1 where she considered herself inferior to the talents of other members CL, Park Bom, and Minzy.Dara tearfully shared her two-year struggle as she sought to find her place in the entertainment industry after the disbandment of 2NE1, All Kpop reported.
In an interview with Video Star, she opened up about her feelings of inadequacy as a member of her Kpop group and reflected on her feelings of not wanting to sing because she felt that she was not as good as her members.Dara said that it was only after 2NE1's disbandment that she felt the foolishness of her feelings. She also said that she tried to find herself and her happiness after her members parted ways and lost touch with some of the people that she met as a member of 2NE1. On the other hand, she felt thankful for the people who stuck by her through her dark days whom she considers as part of her family.
In response to Dara's revelations, Park Bom shared that she and Sandara remained close even after YG announced the disbandment of 2NE1 in 2016. She also shared that she also had a hard time adjusting to her solo career.
"She's loyal and cool. She's an angel in my heart and also my vitamin. Dara doesn't know her strengths, but she's so pretty and cool while also being modest," Park Bom said.
Park Bom and Dara collaborated twice since Bom debuted as a solo act last year with the album Spring. Bom featured Dara in the title track Spring and even included her in the music video to the delight of 2NE1's BLACKJACK fandom everywhere. The pair also reunited for a touching duet entitled First Snow late last year where the two members showcased their vocal prowess.
Park Bom and Dara also collaborated on a cover of 2NE1's Lonely which was featured on Sandara Park's Dara TV vlog channel.For future projects, Bom said that among the junior artists, she wants to try collaborating with BTS.
