Dating rumors are once again plaguing BIGBANG leader G-Dragon and former 2NE1 member Sandara Park after Sandara posted about three special pairs of customized shoes that she received from GD as a gift.
Over the weekend, the hashtag #DARAGON quickly rose to the trending topics on Twitter as shippers of the pair emerged from the woodwork and analyzed every aspect of G-Dragon's special gift to Sandara.
After posting snaps of the three pairs of Nike Para-Noise shoes she received from GD, Dara also shared pictures with G-Dragon at the event, which made fans hope they will finally get the dating confirmation that they have long been hoping for, Kpopstarz reported.
In one of the pictures, Sandara was seen wearing the bucket hat that G-Dragon wore throughout the event. He, in turn, wore a Park not Available beanie, which fans translated as a message that Sandara Park was no longer available to date other guys.
On Twitter, fans celebrated the fact that only Sandara received three pairs of shoes from G-Dragon, compared to the star's other friends, who only received one pair. They also highlighted the fact that GD customized the shoes for the former 2NE1 member.
On the side of one of the shoes, GD scribbled and scratched out the words I don't c(AIR), referencing one of 2NE1's hit songs, I Don't Care. In another pair, fans noticed that G-Dragon painted the white part of the shoe with yellow, which was the same color as Sandara's hair. Another pair had Dara's name painted on it. Fans also noted that all three pairs were part of the limited edition version of Para-Noise, based on the box. G-Dragon earlier posted that there were only 88 pairs of the special edition.
This was not the first time G-Dragon gifted Sandara with customized gear. Before he enlisted in the military in 2017, it can be recalled that Sandara was tapped as a special guest in G-Dragon's MOTTE World Tour for the Manila and Malaysia shows.
"Daragon" became a hot topic when the pair shared multiple images before their performance in Manila and showed off their chemistry on off-stage, which led fans to hope that the pair will finally begin dating or admit that they were more than friends.
Sandara reportedly wore a specially customized jacket made by G-Dragon to complement his stage outfit. This led fans to believe that Sandara was special to GD because of the extra effort he made to make sure that they looked like a couple on stage. Sandara was also the only one to receive a customized outfit among all of GD's guest artists throughout the tour.
Sandara flexed the same jacket on her Instagram recently and said that there was only one of a kind in the world. Fans also recalled the Flower Road shoes that Sandara was spotted wearing several times, which had G-Dragon's signature style for his artwork. Fans believe that it was also another customized gift for Sandara.
Dating rumors have long been linked to G-Dragon and Sandara Park since their early days in YG Entertainment. Among the most infamous clues to their "dating" happened after a BIGBANG concert in Seoul in 2017, when the pair departed the venue together. The video of GD "protecting" Sandara from the press and the fans became quickly became viral as a result, Koreaboo reported.
