The midseason premiere of The Flash season 6 arrived on The CW recently and centered on Iris investigating the mysterious organization Black Hole and the truth about the McCullochs. The episode then ended with her seemingly trapped in the mirror, and some speculated Eva McCulloch was the one who pulled her; the new iteration of Mirror Master -- one of The Flash's iconic villains.

One of the characters in The Flash season 6 midseason premiere was Eva McCulloch. She is the wife of Joseph Carver, CEO of the McCulloch Technologies, who claims he's running the company to honor Eva. Iris believes Joseph has connections with the Black Hole, an organization that deals with meta-human smuggling, but he denies the claims.

Iris began to wonder what happened to Eva, and then she learned that she disappeared in bizarre circumstances. Iris sneaks into the McCulloch Technologies, where she ended up on Eva's abandoned office. There, she found a mirror and a set of hands suddenly pulled her inside of it. This leads to speculations that Eva was the one who pulled her and she's the new version of Mirror Master.

Efrat Dor plays the role of Eva, who is yet to be seen in The Flash season 6. As per the comic history, the character is based on Evan McCulloch; popularly known as the second Mirror Master. He becomes an assassin and mercenary for the FBI, but eventually got tired working with the authorities and decided to join The Flash's Rogues Gallery.

Eva's arrival in the series has been foreshadowed before, starting with the first Mirror Master, Sam Scudder, in season 3. At that time, Harry said Evan McCulloch was Earth-2's Mirror Master, and he's using mirror guns as opposed to superpowers. McCulloch Technologies was also mentioned several times in season 5, with Nora seeking one of their mirror guns to stop Cicada.

The question now is: Is Eva McCulloch the new Mirror Master? Right now, there is no indication that Eva is indeed the Mirror Master, or will she even use that name. But according to a report from TVLine, executive producer Eric Wallace said viewers will get more information about the upcoming Big Bads and what will happen next.

Wallace said the stories burn hotter and faster as the Big Bads coming in the series are exclusive to fewer episodes. Aside from going further and doing crazier things, the series will also accomplish narrative and emotional goals that weren't shown in the past. So, the series is likely preparing Eva as the Big Bad ad will appear at some point this season.

The Flash season 6 airs every Tuesday on The CW.
