The Flash season 6 premiered earlier this month, and we've got a chance to see Caitlin Snow and Ramsey Rosso's interaction. But, if you're hoping their relationship will turn into something romantic, then, sorry to disappoint because that won't happen in the series.
The new villain in The Flash season 6 is Dr. Ramsey Rosso (Sendhil Ramamurthy), aka Bloodwork, who had a close relationship with one of the Team Flash members, Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker). The arrival of this new character was first revealed during the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con.
At that time, new The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace teased that Ramsey and Caitlin had a history, which is much closer than we've ever expected. However, their relationship is not something romantic. In a report via TV Guide, Ramamurthy said these two characters had a "brother-and-sister-type bond."
Panabaker, on the other hand, said Caitlin and Ramsey would be the source of a great deal of angst in The Flash season 6. The actress said these two had a lot of affection, and they also respect and love one another. However, their relationship will eventually change when Caitlin discovers Ramsey's motives.
It's too bad the sweetness will turn sour as The Flash season 6 goes on. Ramsey's up to something, and he's willing to do everything he can to see his plans actualized. He is a brilliant man but proves to be dangerous over time.
The character eventually adapts the persona Bloodwork, a powerful and new villain who will be the team's biggest opponent in The Flash season 6. Williamson and Neil Googe first introduced him in The Flash #30 in 2017. Dr. Rosso began experimenting with the properties of blood, which leads him to gain new powerful abilities and adapted the name Bloodwork.
Ramamurthy's character, in the series, is a research oncologist, rather than a hemophiliac coroner. The character ended up becoming a mad scientist and turned out to be Team Flash's most terrifying foe they ever faced.
His weakness, however, is he couldn't control his powers the more worked up he gets. In short, he has power instability; the faster his heart races, the faster the blood constructs expand outward. Also, calming him down could lead to his powers being weaker by comparison.
Meanwhile, The Flash season 6 episode 2, titled "A Flash of the Lightning," will air on Tuesday, October 15, on The CW.
