Legends of Tomorrow season 5 episode 3 aired on Tuesday night, Feb. 4, on The CW, with the title "Miss Me, Kiss Me, Love Me." The episode sees the Legends in 1947 Los Angeles, and also features the notable return of one of the most beloved characters Zari Tomaz. Now that she appeared in the series, fans were wondering if she's back for good.

In Legends of Tomorrow season 5 episode 3, Behrad Tomaz (Shayan Sobhian) and Nate Heywood (Nick Zano) went to Behrad's house to attend his father's birthday. Behrad asked Nate to pretend he's a professor at the business school he wasn't really attending. The two traveled to 2040, where they met Zari (Tala Ashe), who is a fashion mogul and a social media star in this timeline.

Apparently, Zari has no recollection of her life before the timeline shifted in season 4. This is unfortunate, especially for Nate since he kind of remembers his relationship with her. Zari then tried to use this to her advantage, urging Nate to tell her what Behrad has been doing all the time. She eventually realized the two were present during the incident happened in Heyworld years ago.

Zari attempts to tell her parents about what's happening. But before she could do that, Behrad and Nate opened a portal onto the Waverider, where she unintentionally walked inside. Zari and everyone else seemed to be confused as Legends of Tomorrow season 5 episode 3 comes to an end. So, it looks like Zari's back with the team, but she is not the same Zari they once knew.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, co-showrunner Phil Klemmer said that in the past two years, Zari 2. 0 has been running a giant empire and personal brand, while her brother is secretly saving the world. Despite her new personality, Zari still winds up back on the Waverider. In episode 5, she and the team travel to France, where they encounter Marie Antoinette.

Unlike other Encores, Klemmer explains Marie Antoinette's revenge is creating a nightmare party that never stops. Zari, on the other hand, knows this feeling, thanks to her stardom. Klemmer said Zari knows exactly what it is since she's been through several parties. And this season, she is playing a different version of Zari; a famous social media influencer.

Legends of Tomorrow season 5 airs every Tuesday on The CW.
