Prince William, who is now 37, has three kids with his wife, Kate Middleton. The Cambridge couple was previously said to practice a "simple" life together with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Reports also noted how the royal couple always wanted to be hands-on and present in the lives of their children. This is why it is not entirely surprising that the future King of the British Monarchy is reading bedtime stories to the young Cambridges.
According to Daily Mail, Prince William, himself, revealed that he always reads books at night to set the kids for their bedtime. It was even noted by the reports that he and Kate Middleton are "strict" with themselves to be always there for their children, especially before going to bed.
The revelations came after their recent tour in South Wales. Upon "spotting a child" reading the popular Room On The Broom by Julia Donaldson, the Duke of Cambridge reportedly could not help but, share that he reads the same book to his kids "all the time."
The illustrated book was revealed to be about a witch who invited several animals to travel with her using her broom. A decade after being published in 2002, it was reportedly adapted into a TV film.
As Prince William revealed that the book was a "particular favorite," he also went on to share that he had met the author when she received her CBE for services to literature. He stated that he thanked her for her work and commended how she has helped a lot of parents, especially during bedtime.
The Duke further revealed that he is now looking forward to "move on" to the next books that he will read to the three young royals. Even so, he also mentioned David Walliams and how he also likes his books for children, specifically for the older kids.
In a similar post by Express UK, it was claimed that this was not the first time that royal fans and supporters praised Prince William for his dedication and effort as a father to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. As reported, there was a time in 2018 after their youngest kid was born, he was said to be "nodding off" in one of the Westminster Abbey' services.
Considering that Prince Louis was just a few days old at that time, and he immediately came back to work, Prince William was said to be "widely praised" for being "relatable" to the rest of the parents across the globe for helping his wife "putting in hard work and sleepless nights" to take care of the kids.
