Prince William and Kate Middleton have been quite busy these past few weeks despite having one of the biggest controversies within the monarchy. It was revealed that they have been already to various engagements during and after the talks of Megxit.

Accordingly, many individuals now are curious to know what will happen in the place of Meghan and Harry. Whether they will be replaced or not, this has yet to be known. But, even so, several royal experts and commentators are convinced that two new royals will take the Sussex couple's place in terms of duties and responsibilities.

According to The Chronicle, there are a few "royal duos" who are being looked upon to partner with Prince William and Kate Middleton. Among all these duos, it was said that Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie, the Countess of Wessex are leading the list.

On royal expert, Phil Dampier's part, the ideal duo to replace the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is the Wessex couple. Although the youngest son of the Queen has kept a "low profile" in recent years, it was said that he is favored by Queen Elizabeth II among all her children.

The same is also true for the Countess. Dampier claimed that Sophie has been able to become a "star" in her own right. He even described her as "fit and full of energy."

However, royal biographer, Robert Lacey does not reportedly share the same thoughts as Phil Dampier. Based on assertions, he believes that Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are the much more appropriate royals to work with Prince William and Kate Middleton in replacement to Meghan and Harry's place.

He stated that the two York Princesses will now be "brought forward." It is "quite clear." However, this will only happen if they are willing to be brought forward, the royal biographer added.

While no confirmations have been made about the matter, Fox News recently reported that Prince William and Kate Middleton teamed with Prince Edward and Countess Sophie during the UK-Africa Summit, which was hosted at the Buckingham Palace. Sources even added that the Duchess of Cambridge and the Countess of Wessex wore "twinning" clothing apparel as they both looked stunning in their red outfits.

Shortly after the engagement, several sources have been convinced that this might already be a tell that the Wessex couple will continue to partner with the Cambridge royals for future royal events.
