Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt had the hearts of their fans melting during the 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards held last month.
After the actor won his Best Supporting Actor award for his role in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Jen's name was called as she won an award for Apple TV's The Morning Show with Reese Witherspoon. But, before she could reach the stage to receive her award and give a speech, the former couple had a "showstopping" reunion backstage.
As seen in the photos and clips, Jennifer Aniston was in all smiles as Brad Pitt held her. There were even photos of the Troy actor allegedly "lingering" on the actress' hand.
This moment shocked the whole world as this was the first time that they were seen together in an intimate moment after their split in 2005. Accordingly, speculations immediately sparked among fans that they are finally reuniting and rekindling their romance.
Unfortunately for Brad-Jen shippers, TMZ revealed that the former couple has "no chance" of getting back together. The publication noted that several sources, who are close to the celebrities, attested this.
Based on claims, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have remained "just friends" amid all the speculations. It was even revealed that they did not "get the chance" to chat during their most recent "run-in" at the Golden Globe Awards.
The said sources also shared that the two celebrities just exchanged "greetings and pleasantries" during the after-party. However, this was the only thing that happened between them.
It was then claimed that this is what normally happens when they see each other in public. The reason being is that they have "common friends" in the industry. But, aside from these "rare sightings," Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt do not reportedly "hang out" with each other.
Despite what the former couple shared at the backstage of the SAG awards, it was assured by the sources that there is "nothing romantic going on" between the celebrities. In fact, the actor even reportedly admitted that he is single during his speech at the Golden Globes.
As per The Sun, Brad Pitt won the same award for the same category during the said accolades' night. In his speech, he joked that he will be including "this" on his Tinder profile.
It was then shared that he "made fun" of the fact that he has been linked to every woman that he was seen with. He also said that this is the reason why he did not invite his mom to join him that night.
