Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have been married for seven years now. But, not known to many, the two were dating someone else when they first went on a date.
The two first met and became friends in early 2010 while filming Green Lantern, in which they co-starred. They began dating in October 2011. But, prior to that, they were dating someone else.
In a previous interview, Reynolds revealed that he and Blake were really close friends that they would double date together. Apparently, the A Simple Favor actress brought her date, and so did he. But, this is also the time, the Deadpool actor realized that there was something going on between him and her co-star than just friendship.
"That was the most awkward date for their respective probably because we were just like fireworks coming across," Reynolds revealed during an interview with Entertainment Weekly's SiriusXM show.

From there, their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship and the rest is history. Reynolds confessed that it was a weird start for him and the Gossip Girl actress but he believed that the best way to establish a relationship is to start as friends.
Today, the Hollywood couple has three children together: James, 5, Inez, 3, and the third who was born last year and whose name has not been revealed publically. Reynolds is clearly enjoying his time as a father of three daughters.
In a recent interview with the actor to promote his Netflix film 6 Underground, he opened up about life now that he has four girls at home. Reynolds admitted that he is loving his life now as he has been fully focused on their children.
"I kind of like my life. I'm really sort of into my children, which I know isn't popular to say. It's hard, three girls," he said.
Even though Ryan and Blake have been keeping their life private, they still can't avoid rumors. Over the years, Ryan and Blake have been the subject of various rumors about their marriage.

In May 2019, it was rumored that the couple was getting a divorce. Reynolds, allegedly, reaching out on his ex-wife Scarlett Johanss whenever he was into a tense time at home with Lively. Gossip Cop, however, debunked the rumor.
Meanwhile, the couple has been known for hitting the red carpet together. Fans, however, missed Reynolds and Lively at the recent 2020 Oscars and its afterparty. The couple has skipped this year's Academy Awards as they were not nominated for any awards, nor were tapped to be presenters.
