But, the situation is also a chance for Noelani to prove what she's capable of and that these bad guys shouldn't underestimate her. While she spends most of her time in the lab, she has already dealt with several dangers before. She's also smart and resourceful, which could help her through the situation.
Based on some of the photos of the upcoming episode, it looks like Tani is on her day off with Noelani, and then the hostage incident happened. The story will possibly revolve around them; what they can do to escape the crisis and save everyone else in the convenience store.
Things have been crazy for some of the characters over the past few episodes. For instance, Danny lost someone who could've been his greatest love two episodes ago, while Grover's niece was kidnapped in the recent episode. Now, Tani and Noelani are in danger and might need the help of the team.
As for what else is coming on Hawaii Five-0 season 10 episode 16, the team will also investigate the murder of a Thai diplomat. His wife confessed to the crime, but Danny isn't convinced and he thinks that she is just covering for the real killer.
Moreover, since this is Valentine's Day-theme episode, viewers can expect some lighthearted stuff -- although the series doesn't tease such moments in advance. Perhaps, after all the chaos, were going to see some stories to some of the characters.
