Starship Entertainment has assured the fans of MONSTA X that member Shownu is doing okay following an accident while performing in a show in the U.S. MONSTA X announced that they would continue with their promotions in America even after Shownu stage accident.

During one of the K-pop group's performances on Wednesday, Shownu fell off the stage along with his mic stand while the group was singing "Middle of the Night." The videos that were shared by fans who witnessed the incident showed the members moved quickly and helped Shownu to get back on his feet and finish the performance. Hyungwon was also seen passing his mic to Shownu so he could sing his part.

MONSTA X fans, also called Monbebe, took to social media sites to express their concern for Shownu. They also showed their admiration to the group for being professionals amidst stage mishap.

In a statement, MONSTA X label, Starship Entertainment, said they have checked on Shownu and assured that the singer did not suffer any injury from the fall. Nonetheless, some fans have expressed disappointment with the agency and hoped that Starship could give the group enough rest.

MONSTA X members Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, and I.M. are currently in the U.S. to promote their upcoming album All About Luv as well as meeting their American fans. It is their first album since member Wonho left the group in late October.

Wonho announced his departure from his group following a series of accusations regarding his behavior before his debut. The allegations against Wongo include claims that he borrowed money from his former Ulzzang Shidae co-star Jung Da Eun.

The Korean boy band is also promoting without Joohoney. Earlier this month, the singer announced that he would be taking a break from group activities due to his mental health.

MONSTA X will release their first English-language album, All About Luv, on Valentine's Day. They are set to appear on NBC's The Kelly Clarkson Show on February 13. They will be the first K-pop group to perform in the show.

Meanwhile, the group is also set to join other K-pop groups in Dubai for the 15th stop of the Music Bank world tour. MONSTA X will be joining EXO's Baekhyun, TWICE, SEVENTEEN, and GOT7's Jus2. Music Bank in Dubai is set on March 21 at the Coca-Cola Arena.
