All members of the British Royal Family are expected to attend Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's wedding on May 29. This will include Meghan Markle and Prince Harry who are now living privately in their "temporary home" in Canada.
Since their "bombshell" announcement that they will step down as senior members of the family, the Sussex couple has never returned to the United Kingdom. Even so, many royal experts and correspondents are certain that the Duke and Duchess, as well as their son, Archie Harrison, will likely reunite with the rest of the Royal Family for the upcoming royal event.
According to Hello! magazine, royal correspondent, Danielle Stacey claimed that it is highly expected that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to return to the UK for Princess Beatrice's wedding. Aside from the fact that the York Princesses attended their wedding in 2018, the Duke of Sussex was also said to be very "close" to his two cousins. They would "not miss it for the world," she added.
Aside from the couple's attendance, it was also claimed that the Duchess of Sussex will have a "low-key" role at the upcoming wedding. Similar to Kate Middleton, the two duchesses are expected to have certain roles in the ceremony just like they reportedly did at Princess Eugenie's wedding in 2018.
It remains unknown, though, what this role will be. But, it was asserted that Meghan Markle will not be participating at the immediate wedding party. Even so, the royal event is expected to create an opportunity for the royals to "catch-up" after all the challenges they have faced in recent months.
As per 9Honey, this reported "opportunity" will be very fitting for the nature of the event. As it happens, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will be wedded at the Chapel Royal inside the St James's Palace, which can only accommodate up to 150 seats. So, the event will be "intimate" and private just like what the engaged couple reportedly wishes to have.
The report also noted that, if Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attend the wedding, this will not be the first time that they will be back in the United Kingdom after their royal exit. It was said that the Duke and Duchess are also expected to attend the Commonwealth Day next month as Queen Elizabeth II reportedly sent an invitation to the Sussex family.
Although no confirmations have been made toward the details of these royal events, royal experts and commentators are certain that this is the most possible things to happen in the next few months.
