BTS just dropped their “Map Of The Soul: 7” tracklist and ARMYs are extremely excited about one particular song — “We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal.” The song already has two installments in their previous albums, which many believed were pretty underrated.
With “We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal” being a part of the “Map Of The Soul: 7” tracklist, ARMYs believe that BTS is trying to give the song the attention that it deserves. Now, fans are dying to know if rapper Jungkook will return in the new installment.
Just like most K-pop groups, BTS is also divided into teams. The “Rap Line,” which includes RM, Suga, and J-Hope, while the “Vocal Line” is consists of Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
But just because they are members of that specific team, doesn’t mean the “Rap Line” couldn’t sing, and the “Vocal Line” couldn’t rap. Some ARMYs even dubbed J-Hope as the fifth member of the “Vocal Line” because of his impressive tone. Also, Jungkook rapped in both “We Are Bulletproof” parts one and two.
While it’s pretty clear now which member belongs to what team, the earlier BTS era was different. In fact, all of the members rapped in “We Are Bulletproof Pt.1.” But while Jin, Jimin, and V had singing parts in “We Are Bulletproof Pt.2,” Jungkook still had a rap part.
With that said, ARMYs are expecting the return of rapper Jugkook in “We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal.” “Wait, do you mean rapper Jungkook will make a comeback?” one fan asked. “Rapper Jungkook is back!” one wrote. “If rapper JK doesn’t come with total black eyeliner gangsta rebel package, what’s the point. I want total package Boss,” one ARMY shared.
Meanwhile, BTS has been dropping hints that “BTS’ MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” is going to be a reminder of how it all started. Also, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook left major spoilers at their 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) performance that are only making sense today.
Before the performance began, the 55-second mark revealed the line: “Future meets past.” BTS then set the fandom on fire when they chose to perform their old songs “N.O” and “We Are Bulletproof Pt.2” in 2019 MAMA. RM's “Intro: Persona,” Suga’s “Interlude: Shadow,” and J-Hope’s “Outro: Ego” trailers have been hinting at the “going back to the beginning” concept. So does this mean that rapper Jungkook will make a comeback as well? We'll just have to wait and see for now.
