The industry recently welcomed the arrival of "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot." The game features the adventure of the fan-favorite Saiyan Son Goku on his early journey as an earthling, including the time he became a father and a prominent figure for the Z Warriors. But, despite the latest game releases, Bandai Namco would reportedly continue to release more content to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," according to a new report.

More "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" Contents

Bandai Namco Entertainment earlier confirmed that more content is coming to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" this year. Materials would arrive in both paid and free substance that would be available on all stages. In Dec. last year, Bandai released the game's Ultra Pack 2 DLC.

The "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" Ultra Pack 2 DLC introduced two new playable characters, four new parallel quests, five new costumes, and accessories. There are also seven new techniques, as well as eight new super souls introduced in the game. Moreover, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" received the free update dubbed as the Crystal Raid Expansion. It introduced the 2 vs. 4 gameplay in the popular RPG title.

An extra Raid boss Battle that comes with three new bosses was also introduced in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." A new mode called online photo was added to the game. This mode enables players to capture photos with Time Patrollers all over the world. "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" also received the Hero Colosseum and several other free costumes.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3"

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" was released in 2016. The game is already four years in the industry, but it is still enjoying a massive gamer base. But, since last year, there were whispers online that Bandai Namco Entertainment might release its sequel, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3."

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" sold 1.5 million copies a month after it was released. The game is now available in Google Stadia and Nintendo Switch. Bandai Namco might want to replicate its success by releasing a sequel. However, "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was recently released, and also enjoying a hot reception from the gamers.

Perhaps Bandai Namco would introduce a new game for fans of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" in the form of a sequel. But, it might not yet happen this year, maybe next year. To keep the gamer base alive and active, the game developer would probably opt to release more free and paid content for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."

We will keep you posted with the latest news and update about "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." Meanwhile, "Dragon Ball" fans could also try the new offering from Bandai Namco titled "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot."
