Is EXO's Kai practicing to become the next big youtube star next to his members Baekhyun and Chanyeol? Fans are hoping for it after Kai unloaded a series of IG stories as he tries his hand at doing a mukbang video.
According to a report by Kpopstarz, Kai turned to IG Live to share his meal with his Padding Squad buddies Moonkyu and Ravi. The three idols stepped out for a steak dinner at a restaurant and fans were treated to the light and fun atmosphere of the hangout session among the three good friends.
The guys decided to do something more interesting with the video to interact with the fans more so Kai proceeded to describe the meats and the vegetables as they were served to them, channeling his inner food critic.
"I have tried this now [pointing to the broccoli], and if I will describe the taste, they boiled the veggies for so long it is soft on the outside, and crispy on the inside [saying in the other way around], and with this savory sauce, I tasted three different flavors in my mouth. It was good!" Kai said, channeling his most professional demeanor.
At the end of the video, he even asked viewers to like, subscribe and comment down below, which are the typical parting words of Youtube vloggers. This led fans to hope that Kai would venture out to start his channel as well, like other successful idols.
However, it might not be for a while because Kai is currently busy juggling activities for both EXO and SuperM. After the hectic comeback for their album Obsession, Kai is just about ready to conclude the second leg of SuperM's US and Europe tour.
SuperM kicked off their US tour last January 30 at San Diego's Viejas Arena, February 1 in Los Angeles, CA's The Forum, February 2 at San Jose's SAP Center, February 4 at Seattle's ShoWare Center and February 6 at Vancouver, BC's, Pepsi Live at Rogers Arena, reported Billboard.
After performing at the Jimmy Kimmel Show last week, two more shows have been added to the tour including Accordhotels Arena in Paris on February 26 and London's O2 Arena on February 28.
Kai is also reportedly preparing for his solo debut this year. Based on leaked information, Kai will work on an album entitled Candy Rough. Kai also teased fans about his solo debut with a dance video of his song Spoiler and a performance of his song Confession.
