Meghan Markle's half-sister, Samantha Markle, once again hit her sibling for being allegedly jealous of her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton. The former model claimed that it was the Duchess of Sussex's intention to drop their bombshell announcement on the birthday of Prince William's wife to ruin her day.
It was the future queen consort's birthday week when the Sussexes surprised everyone with their announcement on Instagram. Although their announcement was reportedly expected, it couldn't be denied that it created a big controversy.
Kate Middleton's birthday was on Jan. 9, while Prince Harry and Kate Middleton dropped their bombshell announcement on Jan. 8. At the time, they revealed their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family, be financially independent, and divide their time between the U.K. and North America.
With the timing of her half-sister's announcement on Kate Middleton's birthday, Samantha claimed Meghan Markle is "jealous" of Kate and "ruined her birthday on purpose." "Sad she would do that on Kate's birthday - I believe she was jealous of beautiful Kate," she said, via Daily Star Online. "She could never compare - Kate is iconic!"
Samantha continuously described Kate Middleton as a "perfect queen material" and a lovely member of the royal family, especially as a mother. She, too, revealed how Prince William's wife impressed her by making a $200 dress looked like $2 million when she wore it.
She also hit out Meghan Markle's move to land a deal with Disney to create a new movie that would include the latter. Prince Harry's wife allegedly tried to craft an agreement with the studio, which she said was disrespectful of the royal protocol. Samantha explained it would have been fine if she did it after leaving her royal roles, but it seemed inappropriate for doing it prematurely.
Samantha even likened it to cheating on a spouse, giving her phone number to another guy before being divorced. As she said that Meghan Markle managed to keep her agent and manager, she might already have that Disney deal.
By the looks of it, she claimed that the former actress used the royal family as a launchpad to get to her to a place that Suits couldn't get her. Samantha believed Meghan Markle had been misbehaving.
Hence, she continuously receives so much negative public scrutiny because of her inappropriate actions. Samantha claimed that Meghan Markle created everything that she is experiencing today because of her actions and disregard, despite knowing the public expectations and reliance on her to "walk in shoes that fit."
