It's Donald Trump against the world once again. Now, it's because of the Oscars' Best Picture winner Parasite. If critics and, basically everybody else, praised the movie, not Donald Trump.

During his recent rally in Colorado Springs, Colorado for his 2020 presidential bid, Trump slammed the Academy Awards for giving the Best Picture award to a South Korean movie. POTUS clearly expressed his dismay at how "bad" the Oscars was this year.

"By the way, how bad were the Academy Awards this year, did you see? And the winner is, a movie from South Korea, what the hell was that all about? We got enough problems with South Korea with trade, [then] they give them the best movie of the year? Was it good? I don't know," he told the crowd

Then he added Hollywood should bring the classic films back as Gone With the Wind and Sunset Boulevard. It can be recalled that Clark Gable's movie Gone With The Wind sparked controversy when it won the Best Picture at the Oscars in 1940. The film has been tagged as racist over the years because it tells the story of Scarlett O'Hara (Vivien Leigh), a daughter of a plantation owner in Georgia who also owns slaves during the American Civil War.

Then the president continued to further mock the Oscars and expressed his dislike for Brad Pitt. He repeatedly called the Once Upon A Time in Hollywood actor a "little wise guy." During Pitt's acceptance speech for winning Best Supporting Actor at the Oscars, he made a subtle criticism on the Senate for blocking the testimony of witnesses on the Trump's impeachment trial.

Netizens took to Twitter to slam the president for his racist remark. Many noticed how Trump talked harshly about South Korea while he praised North Korea leader Kim Jong Un.

"If it were from North Korea, he would be talking about how "beautiful" and "strong" the movie it was," one wrote.

"Understandable, he can't read," NEON wrote, suggesting Trump hates Parasite before he needs to read the subtitle if he watches the movie.

The Democratic Party official Twitter account also gave its opinion about Trump's latest rant at its rally. It wrote that POTUS hates Parasite because it shows how insensitive the ultra-rich are about the struggles of the working class, not to mention it requires two hours of reading subtitles.

Parasite was the big winner of the recent 2020 Oscars. Aside from Best Picture, the movie also took home Best Original Screenplay and Best International Feature Film awards while director Bong Joon Ho nabbed the Best Directing trophy.

The South Korean black comedy thriller film made Oscars history as the first movie to receive both Best Picture and Best International Feature Film awards. It was also the first non-English language film to win Best Picture.
