Melania Trump formally introduced her Be Best campaign in 2018. The platform was said to help children, specifically in these three pillars: well-being, online safety, and opioid abuse.

Since the introduction of the public awareness campaign, the First Lady had given a lot of speeches about the initiative. While many individuals, especially supporters and followers, continue to praise her efforts and achievements, she has been also repeatedly criticized and mocked for this specific campaign.

Earlier this week, she has faced another set of backlash from netizens after touting "healthy online behavior." As per CNN, Melania Trump gave a speech that focused on Be Best campaign upon receiving the Woman of Distinction award from Palm Beach Atlantic University.

In her speech, the President's wife mainly tackled children's online safety. She reportedly encouraged parents and adults to help their kids and promote a healthy online environment.

The award itself has met a lot of pushback from students and alumni of the university. Although it is another matter in point of fact, the current mockeries and criticisms she has been facing because of her speech were deemed to be proof that she is not the best person fit to receive the distinction.

According to HuffPost, Melania Trump's speech has been largely condemned by netizens as they cannot reportedly "handle the hypocrisy." It was stated by many individuals that her campaign is quite unbelievable considering that she is married to the "biggest bully" of the online world.

Some even said that the First Lady is certainly having a "hard time" selling this specific initiative of hers since the "most unhealthy online behavior" is "coming from inside her home." This makes the award more of "a joke," one commented.

There were also netizens who called her out. Most of them largely emphasized that she is a "hypocrite" considering that she reportedly tolerates President Donald Trump's antics and behavior.

Several reports also followed recalling the incident that the First Couple encountered last year involving Greta Thunberg and Barron Trump. As it happened, Melania Trump reportedly shared on her social media account that it is not right for people to bully their teenage son, Barron. Not to mention that he is only a kid, who does not deserve being bullied.

However, her post was also met with criticisms since Donald Trump posted a tweet on his account calling out the 16-year-old Greta Thunberg. Accordingly, the First Lady was called a hypocrite for allowing that to happen given that Greta is just also a kid like her son, Barron.

Melania Trump then released a statement after through her Press Secretary stating that Greta and Barron are two different individuals. It was explained that Greta Thunberg is a "public figure", which makes her a target and Barron Trump is just a kid who "deserves privacy."
