Melania Trump and Donald Trump are scheduled to fly to India for their 2-day New Delhi tour. The First Couple will reportedly arrive on February 24 in the Asian country and are expected to reach the city of Ahmedabad by noon.

As per The Times of India, the Trumps will have their first stop at the world's largest cricket stadium, Motera Stadium, wherein they will be welcomed by over 100,000 individuals. The event is named "Namaste Trump" where the couple, especially the incumbent President will reportedly address the "mammoth crowd."

While the first stop is apparently a joint engagement for Melania Trump and Donald Trump, the Indian papers stated that the two personalities will have a different set of schedules for activities during the tour. In the afternoon of the same day, the U.S. President will reportedly "hold talks" with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

It remains unknown whether the First Lady will be with him for the said engagement. However, it is noted by reports that she will visit a government school for the "Delhi leg" of the tour.

On the second and last day of the tour, Donald Trump and Melania Trump are said to receive a "ceremonial welcome" at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi, which is the official residence of the President of India. But, the presence of President Ram Nath Kovind is yet to be revealed. Even so, the ceremony is said to be a "protocol."

Afterward, there will also be an event held by the United States Embassy in the country where the "visiting dignitary" will meet several executives of various Indian companies. It is not revealed, however, if this will serve as the final engagement of the First Couple before heading out of India for the United States.

The preparations are now being done as per claims. Some reports even shared that the cost of the whole visit is rated around $63 million.

According to Express UK, this figure is largely spent on the three-hour visit in the city of Ahmedabad. This includes the expenditures for "clean roads," security, "cultural events," and other engagements necessary for Donald Trump and Melania Trump's visit.

The publication also revealed that the First Lady will be met with her team upon arrival, which will be headed by the "female Indian Police Service officer." It is also stated that instead of wearing their usual khaki uniform, the staff of the First Lady will wear trousers and blazers.

Sources also shared that the members of Melania's staff have gone through a "special training" on "how to walk" with the First Lady during the tour.
