Prince Charles was meeting and attending to flood victims after Storm Dennis hit more than 1,000 homes and businesses in the south of Wales. The royal could not help but say that this disaster happened because of global warming.

The Prince of Wales was talking to a cafe owner who woke up to find his business underwater. Prince Charles said that he's been warning about global warming for decades but no one listened to him.

According to The Sun, the south of Wales had 144 percent more than its average February rainfall this year that Pontypridd's River Taff overflowed and burst its banks. Forecasters said that more rain will pour in the coming weeks.

The floodwaters, however, did not stop Prince Charles from looking into the damages. Witnesses saw the royal climbing on water-logged areas to see everything with his own eyes.

According to the locals, they usually are forgotten in Wales thus Prince Charles' visit meant a lot. The royal even offered his sympathies and some kind words to the victims.

Some 300 people met with the future king at Pontypridd's main street. Prior to the visit this street was apparently flooded with three feet of water.

According to volunteers, the support from the public has been overwhelming as donations like clothes, furniture and even cleaning materials poured in. Fundraisers have also been organized to help the locals recover from the losses.

After visiting Pontypridd, the Prince of Wales was also in Barry for the opening of a Aston Martin factory. The royal arrived in style in a blue vintage Aston Martin DB6.

According to People, the car was actually a gift from Queen Elizabeth for Prince Charles' 21st birthday. He had the car converted to bioethanol made of surplus wine in 2008. Prince William and Kate Middleton used the Aston Martin to drive to their wedding reception in Buckingham Palace in 2011.

While at Aston Martin factory, however, Prince Charles apparently left the crowd in stitches as he admitted he made "a terrible bosh" of the logo's wings to the front of one of the cars. Prince Charles then proceeded with the unveiling of the new factory.

The workers presented the royal with a commemorative drawing of one of the DBX's newest luxury SUV. Prince Charles also got to test drive the prototype around the plant. The royal also met with the engineers to talk about the production process and the challenges of their jobs.
