Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are, reportedly, willing to drop the use of their brand, Sussex Royal, after Queen Elizabeth II bans them from using so. However, a radio host claims that the Duchess of Sussex's reaction on the ban of using their names commercially may have an impact on her husband's ability to retain his titles.

Talking to royal expert Ingrid Seward, talkRADIO host, Mike Graham, suggested the former actress' reaction to this "development" could have an effect on the Duke of Sussex's titles. If Meghan Markle chose to "become more commercialized," it might become awkward for her husband, per Express.

Seward explained that Prince Harry would remain to be a duke and be known as His Royal Highness. However, he would not use "that style" commercially. "It has not been taken away; it has been stored if you like, but when he comes back in May, of course, he will be your Royal Highness the Duke of Sussex," she said.

Graham, then, added that everything would depend on how Meghan Markle would react to this "particular development." When she decided that she wanted to become more commercialized, they would be more like it. However, it might become more awkward for them.

Seward then assured that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would not use it. "I am just talking about the few instances we have been told about where Harry returns to the U.K," she said. But, there were still a lot of "grey areas" about it.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's transition is about to begin in the spring. They will officially leave their senior royal roles after their bombshell announcement. Along with it is the dropping of their royal brand, Sussex Royal. Time reported that the use of the world would not be suitable to their new roles as they would be no longer fulltime working royals.

Queen Elizabeth, reportedly, banned Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from using the royal word in their brand. After a series of complex and serious talks, Her Majesty and senior officials all agreed that there would be inconsistency in their branding if they continued to use it.

By the looks of it, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gladly accepted the decision, as noted on their official website. The royal couple outlined their plans with their imminent transition that included the drop of their plans to trademark the Sussex Royal name. They cited the U.K. government rules that surrounded the use of the word royal pushed them to let go of it.
