Meghan Markle's half-sister, Samantha Markle, earlier claimed that the Duchess of Sussex was jealous of Kate Middleton. Now, another royal expert suggested that it was jealousies that driven the former actress and her husband, Prince Harry, away from the royal family.
Talking to the TalkRADIO host Mike Graham, royal expert Ingrid Seward believed the Sussexes' move to North America got them away more from the royal family instead of the press. She also questioned if it was jealousy that incited them to step down as senior royals, per Express.
Graham suggested that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went to North America to put themselves out of the spotlight. However, they never managed to stay out of it.
Seward then said that the public would surely monitor everything that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would do, and they couldn't get away from the press. "What they are going to get away from is the Royal Family, and this is a slightly grey area that is difficult to understand," she added.
She then questioned why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seemed to be "very upset" with the royal family. "What is it that has driven them out? What jealousies?" she asked.
Seward knew that everybody wanted to know what was the main reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the monarchy. Until today, it remains to be an ill-defined situation that has been difficult not just for them but for everyone.
It wasn't the first time that the royal pair was accused of being jealous that's why they left the royal family. Earlier, Samantha once again went on her series of tirade against her half-sister, Business Times recently reported.
Allegedly, Meghan Markle was jealous of Kate Middleton; that's why she dropped their bombshell announcement on her birthday week. Samantha claimed that the former Suits star's move was intentional because she wanted to ruin her sister-in-law's special day.
The Duchess of Cambridge's birthday was on Jan. 9, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's announcement was made on Jan. 8 - a day after her birthday. The two got the whole world's attention on them. Although it was said to be expected, it still turned into a big royal controversy.
Samantha said Meghan Markle "ruined" Kate Middleton's birthday on purpose, and it was sad that she would do it on her exact natal day. Hence, she firmly believed that she was jealous of the future queen consort.
