Worldwide Handsome Jin may be the eldest member of BTS but he is no match for his members when they have their hearts set on teasing him.
On the day before the release of BTS' comeback album Map of the Soul: 7, Jin found himself the subject of merciless humor of his members RM, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, Koreaboo reported.
During the broadcast, the members shared inside details about the album, new songs, choreography, and activities, and also had fun baiting Jin for reactions. The first blow came from V, who introduced himself to the viewers.
After a pregnant pause, Jin enthusiastically jumped up from his seat to make his own introduction, V interrupted him by saying he was not done yet, forcing Jin to sit back down and wait for his turn. It was obvious in his expression that he knew that he was being made fun of.
V spoke again and finished his spiel and Jin again took his turn. Instead of jumping up this time, he twirled in a circle and introduced himself as Worldwide Handsome, the nickname he earned from his first red carpet appearance at the Billboard Music Awards several years ago.
However, as soon as he made his introduction, his members remained eerily quiet on purpose, compelling Jin to clap for himself to get a good reaction.
Even though they tease him a lot, BTS members really care about Jin. In another segment of the broadcast, Jin opened up about having problems with the choreography of their new songs.
"I don't get familiar with the choreography as quickly as they rest [of the members] do," he said. V, who was sitting next to him quickly grabbed his hand and told him not to say such things.
When Jin insisted that the other members are better dancers, V shook his head and vehemently insisted that it was not true. Jin eventually caved and told V not to get worked about the matter.
Since their debut, BTS has been lauded not only for their strong performances but also their synchronized and complicated choreographies. The release of their Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima further cemented their reputation for complex and artistic choreographies.
BTS released their new album Map of the Soul: 7 last February 21. They also released the Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima film for their new song ON after the positive reception of their Black Swan Art Film performed by MN Dance Company.
