Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to be at the wedding of Princess Beatrice to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29. The confirmation comes after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex apparently took a dig at their royal cousin in their latest official statement as they prepare to step back from their royal roles.

Page Six confirmed in an exclusive that Prince Harry and Meghan will be flying back to London from Canada in time for May 29. They Sussex pair has also "penciled in" Princess Beatrice's wedding date in their calendar.

Princess Beatrice will be married at The Chapel Royal of St. James's Palace with an estimated 150 guests only. The wedding reception will take place at the garden in Buckingham Palace as Queen Elizabeth's gift to the couple.

A friend of the royals claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan are invited to Princess Beatrice and Edo's big day but it would be their choice to go or miss the wedding given their situation in the royal family. Another friend said that their relationship with Prince Harry's kin is "not what it was."

In a statement published on the Sussex Royals' official site, Prince Harry and Meghan appeared to have alluded to Princess Beatrice and Eugenie's lifestyle as they chart out an arrangement with Buckingham Palace. The York royals are making their own money outside of the monarchy despite their HRH titles and this is something that Prince Harry and Meghan cannot do if they stayed as senior working royals.

Princess Beatrice, the ninth in line to the throne, works for Afiniti, a U.S. based AI company. Princess Eugenie, the 10th in line to the throne, is the director of the Hauser & Wirth London art gallery.

The York sisters do not receive money from the Sovereign Grant, unlike Prince Harry and Meghan when they used to officially represent the Queen. Despite this, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie also go to a handful of royal engagements.

In January, Buckingham Palace issued a statement saying that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will no longer be addressed as HRH (His/Her Royal Highness) when they leave their position by March 31. However, Prince Harry and Meghan said in their latest statement that it was their decision to not "actively" use His/Her Royal Highness when they shift to private life. Critics said that Prince Harry and Meghan's statement "struck a more hostile tone" against the monarchy.
