Prince Harry was earlier spotted in Edinburgh as he took off from a train from London. It was said that his return is intended for the final set of engagements that he has to do before Megxit becomes official on the last day of the month.
As reported, the Duke of Sussex was photographed on Tuesday night at the Edinburgh Waverly Station. The royal-born Prince was wearing a casual set of clothes, "sporting" a cap, a black jacket, and a pair of jeans.
According to Metro UK, Prince Harry will "kick-off" the final round of his official engagements on Wednesday by hosting a sustainable summit in partnership with Travalyst. In it, he is expected to "unveil a new holiday scheme" with the use of a "scoring system." This was said to be an initiative to assist individuals, especially tourists, in choosing "environmentally-friendly flights" during holidays.
The publication revealed that the Duke of Sussex launched the partnership last year after the public criticized him and Meghan Markle for using private jets for their travels. The controversy erupted as the Sussex couple was campaigning for the risks and dangers of climate change at that time.
Despite the outrage from the public, Prince Harry previously claimed that he and his wife must travel using private jets due to security reasons. Even so, this response was not highly approved by the critics. Accordingly, this is the base reason why he started the Travalyst project.
As added by Daily Mail, the Duke was said to hope that this project would bring more "transparency" on every flight's carbon emissions. Also, the project reportedly aims to make the holidays of each year "as eco-friendly as possible."
Currently, several big names from the same industry are backing his initiative. The reports revealed that these include TripAdvisor, Booking.com, and Skyscanner.
The summit on Wednesday will be followed by another engagement the next day, as Prince Harry will be joined by Bon Jon Jovi. It was previously shared that the singer will re-record his track, Unbroken, alongside the Invictus Games Choir.
While the Duke of Sussex will already start his official engagements as early as today, nothing much has been heard about Meghan Markle. It remains unknown when she will return to the United Kingdom, along with Archie Harrison.
Nevertheless, the Sussex couple will reportedly attend an awards ceremony for the sick and injured military personnel on March 5. On March 9, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will join the rest of the British Royal Family for the Commonwealth Day service.
