Zara Phillips Tindall, Queen Elizabeth's grandmother, recently returned to England following a skiing trip in Italy with her husband, former rugby star Mike Tindall. The couple are reportedly following the government's health advice about COVID-19 upon their return to the Coronavirus-hit region of Lombardy. Except, Zara and Mike they have not chosen to self-isolate.

According to a spokesperson, Zara and Mike are not showing any symptoms tied to COVID-19 so they are not in self-isolation. The decision to hold off on the quarantine comes as some schools in London shut down after the kids manifested flu-like symptoms, with many families returning from their Italian holiday.

On social media, Mike has been sharing photos of his Italy trip with Zara in the last week. One post showed the former athlete enjoying himself on the skis.

On Tuesday, the British government released an updated advice for travelers who have returned from Pisa, Florence or Rimini to stay at home for a few days even if they have no symptoms. The new guideline also ordered travelers from Italy's quarantined towns to do a self-quarantine if they are back home.

Meanwhile, Zara is reportedly the reason why her sister-in-law, Autumn Phillips, have decided to stay in the U.K. In early February, Autumn and her husband Peter, the Queen's first grandson and Zara's older brother, announced that they were separating after 12 years of marriage.

A source told Daily Mail that Zara tried to mediate between her brother and his wife so that Autumn will not fly back to Canada, her birth home. Apparently, as early as October 2019, Zara knew that Autumn wanted to leave the U.K. However, Zara assured her sister-in-law that she is still very much a part of their family despite splitting from her brother.

Autumn and Peter are said to be co-parenting their daughters, Savannah and Isla. The girls, age 9 and 7, are Canadian citizens.

The Phillips and the Phillips-Tindall live in the same estate at Gatcombe Park, owned by Princess Anne, Queen Elizabeth's only daughter. Zara and Peter are very close to the each other, as well as their cousins Prince William and Prince Harry.

Speaking of Prince Harry, Daily Express reported that Zara is sad over Prince Harry stepping back from the royal family. Sources close to the royal said that Zara is incredible fond of her cousin thus she feels great sadness over what is happening.

Mike was asked in press interviews to comment on Megxit but told reporters not to go to this topic. He did say, however, that he has talked to Prince Harry before he left for Canada last January.
