Prince Harry has now started to attend the final set of his royal engagements in the United Kingdom. Earlier this week, the royal-born Prince arrived in England from Canada and immediately headed to Scotland. It was said that he would host an eco-tourism summit in Edinburgh the following day, which will serve as the start of his final engagements as a working senior royal of the British Royal Family.

In partnership with a firm that he launched last year, Travalyst, the summit, was said to aim for a "more sustainable tourism industry." Some of the big names in the said industry that were in attendance include TripAdvisor and Booking.com.

While the event was successful, it was reported that Prince Harry received a huge backlash from several royal fans and followers after. As it happened, his and Meghan Markle's official Instagram account posted an update about the summit and obtained a lot of criticisms and objections.

According to Express UK, the post included four photos from the event, including the Duke of Sussex. Along with the set of images, the caption reportedly included an "excerpt" of the royal's speech during the event.

Although the post mainly intended to share an update on what happened during the summit, many netizens posted their comments on the post and criticized him for his actions.

It was revealed that most of these criticisms largely emphasized that this is "hypocrisy in the making." Some of the responses also pointed out how excited they are that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will soon leave the royal life behind. I cannot wait for them to "go away," one netizen commented.

There were also comments claiming that they are from the United States. But, despite being outside the vicinity of the United Kingdom, these individuals reportedly shared that they are "most certainly" not fans of the Sussex couple. "Shame on you," another follower said.

Even so, there were still a few individuals who praised and commended Prince Harry for what he is doing and planning to do, especially in this new phase of their lives outside the British Monarchy. Some even described that the initiative is "fantastic."

As per 9Honey, this was not the only post made by the Sussex couple's account that received both praises and criticisms. It was shared that a previous post about the same subject had a "misspelled" word. Instead of the word, "nearly," it was written as "newrly."

Some were quick to notice the typographic error deeming it as a "careless" move. Others, however, pointed out that they are "proud" of Prince Harry, as well as the participating institutions for this specific initiative.
