Melania Trump just recently returned from India together with her husband, President Donald Trump for a state visit. Although the First Lady of the United States enjoyed her recent trip, she once again received an online backlash after she celebrated the Black History Month on Twitter.
The former model posted a celebratory message to honor the event with four images of the White House visitors. "@POTUS and I enjoyed welcoming guests to the @WhiteHouse this evening for our celebration of #BlackHistoryMonth," she captioned the snap.
In the photos, Donald and Melania Trump could be seen standing side-by-side with their guests as they put a wide smile on their faces for a photo session. However, it looked like a lot of her followers didn't like her post.
Once again, the FLOTUS got criticized for the alleged hypocrisy of her post. One Twitter user said that it was great to see actual people in the White House who cared about minority success. "What was the most poignant moment of the evening, in your opinion? Or was your head purely drawing blanks like most days?" another one added.
Another netizen questioned Melania Trump's move, asking if it was the best thing that she could do. To cap off all the criticisms, one of her followers called her and the POTUS "the two liars."
But, not everyone was critical of Melania Trump's post. Her true fans even praised the mother-of-one for her move. Some said they are proud of the United States' First Couple and commended what they did for Black History Month.
Melania Trump just came from a state visit from India and also updated her followers with her activities. As expected, they visited the Taj Mahal, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Live Mint noted. In a 45-second clip, Melania could be seen walking hand-in-hand with Donald Trump toward the iconic ivory-white marble mausoleum.
She also watched the Happiness Curriculum programs in schools. She thanked the people of Sarvodaya School in New Delhi for the warm welcome she received, saying she was honored for being surrounded by "extraordinary" students and faculty. She also noted that it was one of the most unforgettable sessions she had.
Melania Trump revealed the Happiness Class inspired her to set a "healthy and positive" example for educators. Dressed in their traditional attires, students welcomed Melania when she arrived at the Sarvodaya Co-Educational Senior Secondary School in Moti Bagh, handed her a bouquet and put tilak on her forehead.
