JTBC's Itaewon Class is earning a lot of positive reviews but more than the storyline, something from the drama is grabbing the audience's attention. It's nothing other than Park Seo Joon's hairstyle.

According to a report by Koreaboo, Park Seo Joon's character sports a hairstyle which is quite similar to a chestnut in keeping with the look of the main character in the manga. However, while it looks simple, Park Seo Joon has warned audiences against getting a similar cut for a very simple reason.

According to the actor, the chestnut hair requires a lot of maintenance. He said that he gets his hair trimmed every four days to maintain the look. Park Seo Joon said that fans should not adopt the look if one is not committed to it.

Even Park Seo Joon's good friend Park Hyung Sik had something to say about his new hairstyle, even though he is currently serving his mandatory enlistment. "Ay where are there so many chestnuts on the streets.. I should pick some up and roast em..," Park Hyung Sik teased on one of his posts.

In a separate report by All Kpop, the ninth episode of Itaewon Class which aired last February 28 continued to rise in the ratings as it reached its personal best rating of 14 percent, based on Nielsen Korea. "Thank you for your support. Both the actors and producers are doing their best to repay the love and support through the project," producers said.

They also teased that now that Itaewon Class has entered the second phase of its storytelling, viewers should look forward to more conflict and romance. Itaewon Class revolves around the character Park Sae-ro-yi (Park Seo-joon), an ex-convict who opens a pub in Itaewon. Together with his friends, he tries to establish his business and go up against Jangga Co, a major food corporation.

Two female leads play important roles in the series. Kim Da Mi is a recent high school graduate who is hired by Park to manage his restaurant while Kwon Nara plays the role of his first love who now works at Jangga. Early reviews for the show praised Itaewon Class for presenting a relatable view of the struggles of regular folk.

While shooting the series, Park Seo Joon also was among the first to respond to the needs of those who are suffering from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Daegu. He donated 100 million to augment the National Chest of Daegu last week.
