Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are set to tie the knot on May 29. Despite all the hurdles and challenges that the British Royal Family has faced these past few months, it was said that the couple still obtained their initial plans for their upcoming wedding.

Unlike the previous royal weddings of Princess Beatrice and Meghan Markle, the eldest York Princess will have a much smaller and more private wedding. It was revealed that the venue will only accommodate up to 150 guests, which is way less than her sister's 800 visitors in 2018. Nevertheless, several reports claimed that this is what the engaged couple always wanted in terms of their wedding.

According to Express UK, there will be a lot of changes that will happen after the wedding. Aside from Princess Beatrice's new role as she will officially become Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's son, Wolfie's stepmother, she will also reportedly receive new royal titles after the union.

As per the publication, this was largely discussed by royal commentators and experts, Angela Mollard and Zoe Burrell in an episode of the ROYALS podcast. Based on assertions, the York Princess will then become part of the Italian Royal Family through marriage.

The reason being is that Edoardo is also revealed to be a royal. As it happens, his father, Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi is an Italian Count.

After their wedding, Princess Beatrice will automatically become a Contessa or a Countess because of her husband. Aside from her Countess title, she will also be called "Nobili Donna," which means a "Noble Woman."

In a similar report shared by Observer, the upcoming wedding may not be as grand as what the other British Royals had in the past. Even so, the small and intimate wedding of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will be "double regal" since they are both of the "blue blood."

However, the report also noted that the Countess title will not be legal. This is because the Italian Monarchy was already abolished many decades ago. So, the titles that the members of the Italian Royal Family and Nobility use in recent times are said to be just as a "courtesy."

Despite this revealed dynamic, the publication continued to reveal that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will still inherit the Mapelli Mozzi's "ancestral seat" in the 18th century Villa Mapelli Mozzi palace, considering that Edo is the eldest son of the Mapelli Mozzi household.
