They say BTS is not a group, it's a family. And just like what normal family members do, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook also break some important promises with each other.
While the BTS boys are known for their tight-knit relationship, their competitiveness most of the time gets in the way. So when RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook had to do some challenges to win a prize that they all can easily afford, they were left with no choice but to betray each other.
Here are 7 times BTS brutally betrayed each other.
1. Jungkook or presents?
J-Hope went up to V and told him that he will give him all his presents if he’ll help him get Jungkook. And just like that, V traded his fellow “Maknae Line” member and immediately revealed his location. (Watch the clips here and here).
2. Another day, another “Maknae Line” betrayal
Since they were going to do the challenge in the pool anyway, Jimin, V, and Jungkook decided to make their entrance fun by jumping into the water. What Jimin didn’t know was that V and Jungkook had a different thing in mind. (Watch the clip here).
3. BTS is a bunch of liars
In one of the earlier episodes of Run BTS! RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook kept saying that each of them got a low point. As the director started to reveal their points one by one, it was clear that all of them lied and tricked each other. (Watch the clip here).
4. V believed he and Jimin got the huge room all to themselves
With seven members wanting the best room available when they travel in Bon Voyage, they usually decide which one will get what room by doing a mini-challenge. In this particular scene, Jimin, Jin, and Jungkook picked the same room. When it was V’s turn, he chose the room where the three boys were. As V entered the room, he only saw Jimin, so he was super happy about it, but he later realized that Jin was hiding behind the door and Jungkook was underneath the bed. 5. Jungkook traded Jin for ice cream
When BTS suddenly craved for ice cream, Jungkook gave Jin to the director in exchange for the dessert. (Watch the clip here).
6. J-Hope was not allowed to laugh
Knowing that J-Hope laughs a lot, the rest of the boys chose “hahaha” as his forbidden word in one of the challenges. (Watch the clip here).
7. Ex-soulmates
Jimin and V call each other soulmates. And because of that, Jimin only trusted V to see his back, where the opponent will put a sticker on. Unfortunately for Jimin, he was V’s target. The traitor kept telling the innocent victim that he was just fixing the paper on his back, not knowing that V was actually placing the stickers on it.
