The Masked Singer season 3 aired another episode last Wednesday night and unmasked the first performer from Group C. The first one eliminated from the group was the Bear Mask, but many were shocked by the reveal. It turns out that former Alaska governor and vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin was the person under the costume.
No one predicted that Palin would be wearing the Bear costume and becomes of the performers in The Masked Singer season 3. There are a lot of speculations as to whom the mask might be and Palin wasn't on the list. In her clues, she spoke about her critics and being "sick" over the people who don't even know the real her. She also mentioned about having cub, indicating she has children.
The Bear Mask performed Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back," in which panel Ken Jeong said the person under the costume might Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin, while Jenny McCarthy thought the performer could be actress Candace Cameron Bure. Robin Thicke, on the other hand, guessed the Bear Mask was comedian Tina Fey, while Nichole Scherzinger picked actress Christina Applegate.
But, none of their speculations was correct as many were shocked when Palin revealed she's the person under the Bear costume. It's unexpected that one of the performers from Group C was the former Alaska governor. According to Palin, she chose the Bear costume since it referenced her nickname growing up, and also noted she's a "mama bear."
Palin was the latest performer to be eliminated in The Masked Singer season 3. Some of the previous unmasked performers this season include Group A's Lil Wayne, Drew Carey, and Chaka Khan, and Tony Hawk, Dionne Warwick, and Tom Bergeron from Group B. Palin, on the other hand, was the first one to be eliminated from Group C.
Now, there are only five remaining performers from the Group C: the Swan, the Rhino, the Night Angel, the T-Rex, and the Astronaut. Based on some of the clues, one of them is a Guinness World Record holder, a New York best-selling author, and someone who has 36 gold records. Prior to the performance of Group C, it was also teased that the performers in the group are "bigger than ever."
