WARNING: This article may contain spoilers for The Flash season 6 episode 16. Read at your own risk.

The Flash season 6 episode 16 will see one of the main characters in serious danger, so the other superheroes need to do whatever they can to help him. The series has already featured several characters facing near-death experiences, and in the next episode, titled "So Long and Goodnight," Joe West's life might be in danger -- all because of the Black Hole.

In The Flash season 6 episode 16, the Black Hole will hire Rag Doll in order to kill Joe. To avoid this potential danger, Singh suggests that Joe should go to Witness Protection, but he refused to stop investigating Carver. Joe's action may put him in serious danger, considering that the Black Hole is just out there and ready to attack him anytime.

Meanwhile, The Flash season 6 episode 16 will also see Ralph and Sue reuniting once again. Ralph runs into Sue while he was also investigating Carver with Cisco. As for Iris, she's still part of the Mirror-Verse in some ways and she becomes suspicious of Eva. There are a lot of things going on between these two, and the episode will further explore what's next for them.

As of the moment, the official release date of The Flash season 6 episode 16 was not yet revealed, though it may not arrive anytime soon. Deadline first reported that Flash unit manager Brent Crowell announced that The CW series would cease production on the current sixth installment "until further notice," which is effective on Friday, Mar. 13, and everyone is advised not to report to work.

The production shuts down due to coronavirus concerns and it is also the latest series to suspend filming as the coronavirus pandemic continues engulfing the world. The Flash joins another The CW series, Riverdale, which also suspended its production a few days ago. The latter suspected that one of its crew members have contacted the virus.

In another report, The Flash season 7 promoted two new recurring characters as series regulars. Allegra Garcia, portrays by Kayla Compton, will have a bigger role in the next installment. She is a new member of the Team Flash, who helps Barry doing some of his missions. Her metahuman powers could also manipulate the electromagnetic spectrum.

Brandon McKnight's Chester P. Runk was also promoted as series regular in the next season. The character is a tech genius who could design and build almost any gadgets without expensive resources and backing from the S.T.A.R. Labs. Runk, who is also obsessed with sci-fi movies and aliens, does his work by himself and forsake the high tech labs.
