ARMYs would do anything to get the chance to meet BTS in person. With their growing popularity and hectic schedule, ARMYs present in fan meetings always make sure to make the most out of it.
One K-ARMY shared her experience in meeting RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. She said that the day was a mix of the best time of her life and the most humiliating one at the same time. Just like most fans who get the chance to participate in these fan meetings, the K-ARMY prepared a lot to meet her idols.
“I honestly lose sleep over this still,” she shared. “So… it was about two years ago. I was in line to meet and greet the members. I was so nervous. I went all dressed up. I wore a lot of make-up and I had my hair done nicely. I wore a really nice outfit and sprayed myself with perfume so I smell good and everything. I didn’t get a chance to check myself in the mirror before I stepped up to take my turn though…”
The K-ARMY recalled that when it was finally her turn to get an autograph, she noticed that the members had a shocked look on their faces. Since she was dressed up to the nines, she thought at the time that maybe the boys were surprised that she over-dressed to the event.
“My turn came and I was getting the autographs… when I realized the members looked a bit caught off guard to see me,” she shared. “I could see the discomfort in their eyes… I honestly thought it might be because I looked good that day, LOL. Anyway, I got to Jin who was the member right before my favorite member.”
While the other members didn’t have the guts to tell her the truth, Jin felt the need to say something about what he noticed.
“Jin tried to listen to what I was saying… but then, he smiled and whispered to me,” the fan said. “He goes, ‘Nuna, I’m really sorry, but you have an eye booger. Let me cover you so you can clean that up.’ And I could feel my face burning. I was like, ‘Huh?’ And I sat there getting rid of my eye booger in front of him.”
Even though she was extremely embarrassed, Jin made the K-ARMY feel better by telling her that it’s a normal thing. The BTS star even assured her that it happens to him too.
“I was like having a mental breakdown because I was so embarrassed and Jin was laughing at me,” she shared. “But he told me, ‘You’re so cute… That happens to everyone though. I get eye boogers too!’”
Thanks to Jin, the K-ARMY got to meet her favorite member eye booger-free. But then she noted that after that embarrassing encounter, Jin became her bias.
