It has been days since royal experts and commentators urged Queen Elizabeth II to "self-isolate" amid the COVID-19 outbreak in the United Kingdom. But, it is only this weekend when the British Monarch left the Buckingham Palace for Windsor Castle.

As per recent headlines, the head of the British Monarchy has "fled" the London Palace to stay in Windsor Castle for a while. No confirmations have been made, though, if this is for the purpose of "self-quarantine," Even so, many are certain that she is now advised to stay in the county of Berkshire.

According to The Sun UK, Queen Elizabeth II was spotted leaving London as she heads toward Windsor Castle. The sources stated that this is because the Monarch is much more prone to contracting the virus inside Buckingham Palace.

As explained, there are more than 500 royal aides and staff members inside the grounds, which is 400 hundred more than what Windsor Castle has. Also, it was pointed out that the Palace is in the middle of London, where the highest number of COVID-19 positive cases were tallied.

So far, 1,140 individuals have been confirmed to test positive for the virus with a total of 21 deaths. 313 of these cases were all declared in the capital. Accordingly, it is only logical why Queen Elizabeth II fled the city.

The New York Post also noted that the Queen is already turning 94 this April, which makes her much more vulnerable to COVID-19. As it happens, it was released by the officials that all of the 21 deaths that the United Kingdom has incurred were all seniors with ages 60 and above. All of them had pre-existing conditions as per claims.

While the general public agrees that this is what's best for Queen Elizabeth II, some reports contended that the royal has been only staying at Windsor Castle for her casual weekend stay in the county. It was said that she will still return to London next week.

As for other headlines, it was believed that Prince Philip, who is turning 99 in June, also arrived in Berkshire alongside his wife. Although no actual photos or clips were seen, sources attested that the royal couple is now together, which is only suitable for both of them.

It was also said by other royal commentators that it would be much better if they stay instead in their Sandringham Estate. As revealed, their property in Norfolk only have a "handful" of aides and staff, which is reportedly way much safer for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
