Is Princess Beatrice's wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi at risk again? Speculations are that the York royal could push her wedding date for a third time due to the coronavirus scare.

People reported that reps of the couple have been trying to work out a new arrangement. It comes as Buckingham Palace announced that garden parties at the Queen's official residence for the next few months will be canceled to prevent the spread of the virus.

Prince Beatrice and her fiancé have settled on a May 29 wedding following their September 2019 engagement. They moved this date two times before because of Prince Andrew's controversy.

The couple has also decided to keep their wedding smaller than their original plan to attract less media attention. In February, Queen Elizabeth said that Princess Beatrice and Edo can have their wedding reception in Buckingham.

However, as the government is slowly imposing some restrictions for those vulnerable to the virus, palace officials said that the Queen made a sensible decision to cancel forthcoming royal events. Aside from Princess Beatrice's wedding reception, the Queen's birthday celebration in April as well as the Trooping the Colour in June might also not push through this year.

Meanwhile, in light of the increasing problems in this public health crisis, Edo made a call on Twitter to grocery chains across the U.K. He asked that they must issue an "elderly hour" to accommodate the vulnerable sector.

The future member of the British royal family said that the elderly shoppers must be given a special hour in the morning at supermarkets so that they could come in first. This way, the place is still clean and disinfected and the elderly have full shelves to buy their supplies.

According to government experts, those above 70 years old will soon be required to stay at home for a very long time to ensure their health and well-being.  The coronavirus pandemic is worse for the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions.

Edo, however, did not address the speculations about the changes on his wedding day. Buckingham Palace has also not yet issued a statement despite cancelling the garden party.

Princess Beatrice and Edo will be married at The Chapel in St. James's Palace. The place may only accommodate close to 150 guests, which is unusual for a royal wedding. Prince Andrew is expected to walk his daughter down the aisle while Edo's son from another relationship is going to be the Best Man.
