Korean actor Kim Woo Bin showed another good deed amidst the coronavirus outbreak in the world. The Heirs actor decided to donate his entire talent fee from a documentary to help children with cancer who are vulnerable to COVID-19.
Kim Woo Bin's agency AM Entertainment revealed this week that the actor donated to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation the entire payment that he received for the narration of MBC's documentary titled Humanimal. The documentary is about the life and death of human beings and animals around the world and the story of their coexistence.
Woo Bin made the decision after he learned the flight of the foundation in purchasing face masks for the children. Generally, children have a lower risk of getting coronavirus. However, kids who have compromised immune system such as cancer patients are vulnerable to the disease.
According to foundation Secretary-General Seo Seon Won they have already procured almost 1,000 kits containing antibacterial items for the kids who are at high risk of infection. However, they are having difficulties securing the necessary items such as face masks because of the rise in price caused by the outbreak. He thanked Woo Bin for helping the foundation make the necessary purchase.
