Dua Lipa's collaboration song with MAMAMOO member Hwasa has been hitting music charts since it was released this week. Dua praised Hwasa and expressed her desire to perform the song on stage with the Korean singer.

Dua Lipa dropped the remix of her song, "Physical," on March 18 and it featured MAMAMOO member Hwasa. She took to Twitter to praise the Korean singer and expressed her love for Hwasa.

"I love this girl & her energy & I'm so grateful we got to come together on this being on opposite sides of the world... HWA SA I LOVE YOU and hopefully one day we can perform it together," Dua Lipa tweeted.

The song has been charting in Korea's music charts including Melon and Genie. The "Physical" remix version includes new Korean lyrics. It also featured both women singing the original English lyrics.

"Physical" was initially released earlier this year. It peaked at No. 60 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song will be included in Dua Lipa's upcoming second studio album Future Nostalgia. The new album is scheduled to drop on April 3.

Dua and Hwasa first met at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards. The English singer/songwriter and MAMAMOO were both performers and awardees in the show. Hwasa also did a cover of Dua's song, "New Rules" while Lipa sang her hit song "Don't Start Now."

During the show, Hwasa also presented Dua the International Favourite Artist award. The two were seen sharing a hug onstage and also took a photo together backstage.

It was revealed that after their initial meeting, the Grammy-winner singer asked Hwasa for the collaboration. The MAMAMOO maknae said yes and there the collaboration started.

This is not the first time that Dua Lipa collaborated with a K-pop act. The "One Kiss" songstress previously teamed up with BLACKPINK on her song "Kiss and Make Up." The song charted in South Korea and the U.S. and also hit the Top 40 chart in the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand. "Kiss and Make Up" was featured in the deluxe edition of Dua's 2018 self-titled debut album.

As for Hwasa, she made her solo debut last year with her hit single "Twit." It peaked at No. 3 on World Digital Song Sales in February 2019.

Meanwhile, MAMAMOO released last month their third Japanese song, "Shampoo," along with the Japanese version of "Hip." Both songs are included on the Japanese edition of Reality in Black album.
