It has been weeks now since the coronavirus emerged in Europe. But, it is only recently when Buckingham Palace released an official statement about their precautionary measures in keeping the British Royal Family, especially Queen Elizabeth II, safe.

Last week, it was said that the Palace was reviewing all of the royals' engagements and events in the coming weeks. After a careful consideration given the current circumstance, several of their official tours and appearances have been now either postponed or cancelled.

According to Insider, the head of the British Royal Family will continue her engagements with Prime Minister Boris Johnson this week before finally heading to Windsor Castle. It was not revealed, though, how long Queen Elizabeth II will stay in Berkshire amid the growing numbers of COVID-19 cases in the country.

Even so, it was released before the public that several of her "garden parties" are already cancelled. The same is also true for the annual Maundy Service at St George's Chapel.

As for her supposed engagements at Chesire and Camden, the dates were said to push through on a much later note. "Further announcements" are also expected for the Trouping the Colour, the celebration of VE Day's 75th anniversary, and Japan's Emperor and Empress' State Visit in the United Kingdom.

The same publication also noted Prince Philip's possible condition these days. While no confirmations have been made yet about the Queen's husband, it was assumed that the Duke of Edinburgh is already

"self-isolating" himself in Norfolk.

Daily Mail released a similar report revealing the updates on some of the British Royal Family's movements in recent weeks. It was said that Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall have already "pulled out" of their upcoming royal tour in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, and Jordan.

The reports then added that the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall are doing well and safe amid the COVID-19 outbreak in the United Kingdom. It remains unclear, though, if they will stay in Clarence House during this time of crisis.

As for Kate Middleton and Prince William, the details of their upcoming Australia tour have remained undisclosed before the public. Nevertheless, the latest updates about this engagement largely tell that it may be either cancelled or postponed due to the unfortunate pandemic that has now affected more than 150 countries.

Meanwhile, all members of the British Royal Family has kept quiet about the status of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's wedding in May. So far, no direct confirmation has been given yet whether the royal wedding will go ahead as planned or not.
